What’s the difference between a testimonial and a case study?
To me, a testimonial is when someone says something nice about you and the work you do.
For example, here are just a few testimonials that I’ve been blessed to receive from the biggest names in the personal growth industry:

If those are examples of testimonials, then what’s the difference between testimonials and case studies?
A case study is different from a testimonial because while a testimonial is someone saying something nice about you, a case study is an example of someone who used your work to change their lives.
For example, here are some recent case studies from real people just like you who used my programs…

So which is more important – testimonials or case studies?
The answer is…
It’s great to have testimonials from well-known people in your industry, because other people will recognize their names while you’re building your brand.
And it’s also important to have case studies from “regular folks” because most of the people who buy your products will be “regular folks” themselves.
That will make it easier to believe that “Hey, if he or she can do it, I can do it too!”
That’s why I highly recommend using both testimonials and case studies to build your business.
