5 Habits of Successful People You Can Do In Under 12 Minutes

Highly successful people understand that there are two kinds of habits - productive habits that propel you toward your goals, and unproductive habits that stop you from reaching your goals.

Here are The 5 Daily Habits of Successful People that you can do in less than 12 minutes a day...

5 Daily Habits of Highly Successful People

Have a Morning Ritual

Start early

Time is the most valuable resource about the daily habits of successful people, we have because it can never be replaced. Highly successful people understand the value of time. In the early hours, you'll have more opportunities to do things that matter to you. Simply waking up 15 minutes earlier than your usual time will do wonders for your productivity.

Visualize the day going well

Learned leaders utilize the quiet morning hours to visualize. Highly successful people have developed the habit of envisioning how specific projects should turn out and working towards eliminating the roadblocks to getting things done.

Get your blood pumping - Exercise

7-10 minutes a day is all it takes to get your blood pumping. (That's 3 rounds of your favorite music.) Start with basic stretching and then a combination exercise where you use your own body weight. You'd be surprised how many 5-minute exercise videos are on YouTube!

Get Your Mind Right

Use AFFORMATIONS® instead of “affirmations.”

My AFFORMATIONS® Method involves using empowering questions instead of statements to change your subconscious thought patterns from negative to positive.

List 3 things you are grateful for

Gratitude is not only about being thankful for positive experiences. In fact, sometimes thinking about negative or difficult situations can help to really nail down what you have to be thankful for.

Listen to your favorite motivation resource

For example, use my iAfform® Audios at https://iAfform.com
Motivation doesn’t last forever, so you need to replenish yours regularly. Highly successful people know this, so they dedicate ample time to increasing their supply. You’re more likely to continue accomplishing a task once you’re emotionally invested in it, right? Spend 12 minutes listening to iAfform® Audios and watch your life change.

Put The Big Rocks First

Tackle the most important projects first

As Stephen Covey wrote in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, if you don't put "the Big Rocks" in first, you'll never fit them in. That means scheduling your most crucial tasks first.

Divide and conquer: break larger projects into smaller tasks

Studies show that our average working memory capacity (what’s used in mental tasks) is only three to five items. That means you should break larger projects down into smaller to-dos so you can more easily identify what step to take next.

Don’t get distracted

People ask me all the time, "Noah, how do you stay so focused?" Simple: Focus is a muscle that you can build, just like your physical muscles. You work on it a little bit every day and your focus improves. Simple.

Plan for Success

Review what didn’t get done today

At the end of the day, look over your task list and determine what didn't get done.

Analyze why

Then ask yourself why it didn't get done. There's usually a simple answer, even if it's one you don't want to hear.

Consistently improve your Systems of Support

In my new book Power Habits®: The New Science for Making Success Automatic®I reveal The 5 Essential Systems of Support that an individual, team, or organization must have in place in order to reach their goals and vision. Review your Systems of Support daily to ensure you've got everything you need to succeed.

Reconnect and Reboot

Spend time with your loved ones

Imagine if you had a million dollars in the bank and no one to share it with. When you neglect to devote time to family and friends, even accomplishing your goals can feel empty and unfulfilling. Therefore, make time to connect with your loved ones. This can include anything from talking to enjoying a meal. (And put away your phone for five minutes!)

Read for continuous learning and growth

Many highly successful people never finished college, yet they never stopped learning. Reading is a key part of success. But highly successful people don't read just anything. Be highly selective about what you read, even if it's for entertainment. Books are the fastest gateway to learning and knowledge.

Get at least 7 hours of sleep

Sleep plays an essential role in your health and well-being. Getting enough good quality sleep has many benefits, including protecting your physical and mental health and quality of life. When you sleep, important physical and mental processes are carried out. Not getting enough sleep can seriously hurt your health and well-being. Highly successful people get enough sleep, at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night to be well rested.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the habits of successful people that can be accomplished in under 12 minutes are powerful tools for personal growth and achievement. These brief but impactful practices serve as a reminder that success is often built on consistency and intention, rather than the need for long hours of effort. By incorporating these habits into our daily routines, we can cultivate a mindset of productivity, resilience, and self-improvement.
