AFFORMATION® of The Day: “Why is it OK for me to be successful and spiritual too?”

Many of us were raised with the with the belief that said well if your spiritual you can’t be rich and if you’re rich you definitely can’t be spiritual.

How many of us have heard things like it’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the gates of heaven.

That is a very famous quotation supposedly and the point is that well you know if your spiritual you can’t be rich and if you’re rich you can’t be spiritual you certainly can’t be both at the same time.

Well you know what I have had the opportunity and the privilege of interviewing over 150 millionaires multimillionaires and even a few billionaires.

There’s people who aren’t nice out there there’s lots of rich a-holes out there.

No question about it but you know what there’s a lot of poor a-holes too and there’s a lot of rich nice people and there’s a lot of poor nice people.

So the amount of money that you have is totally irrelevant to whether you’re a nice person or not a nice person.

Here is the point money acts as a magnifying glass money doesn’t change anything it reveals everything.

What does that mean well if you’re a poor a-hole and then you get a lot of money.

You’ll be a rich a-hole the only more of an a-hole and if you’re a poor nice person and you get a lot of money then you’ll be a rich nice person only even nicer.

Well we can try to be a nice person we can try to help others we can try to make a difference try to have an impact.

Yes of course we want to take care of our families, we want to have fun, we want to go on fun vacations, we want to hang out with family friends and do fun things and enjoyable things that life has to offer and enjoy all of the experiences that life has.

And so is it possible to be spiritual and successful to be rich and spiritual at the same time of course it is.

But if you believe that it isn’t then you’re going to prove yourself right
