What is this success tip that highly successful people do and unsuccessful people ignore?

It’s taking 100% RESPONSIBILITY for your life.

Look at that word responsibility—it’s comprised of the words response and ability, meaning “the ability to respond”.

When you take responsibility, you are saying to yourself, “I have the POWER to RESPOND to what’s happening in my life.”

When you take responsibility, you are also telling God and other people, “I am not a victim.”

This is the most crucial success tip I could give you.

In fact, I would argue that the #1 trait of UNSUCCESSFUL people is not taking 100% responsibility for their lives.

Unsuccessful people (i.e., people acting with the “victim mentality”) blame their parents, their spouse, their childhood, where they live, their boss, the government, the economy, the weather…

ANYTHING except taking responsibility for their own actions.

When you don’t take response-ability, you give up the ABILITY to RESPOND – and therefore you give up your power to change, which means you’re living a life that’s not your own and you are giving up the power to change.

Bottom line: No highly successful person became that way by NOT taking responsibility for their lives.
