What’s the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
Shrieking alarm clock… Check smartphone
Your first thought, “Oh brother, here we go again…”?
If this is how you START your day, what’s the REST of your day going to look like?
Probably not so hot.
That’s why Live Your DREAM Lesson #2 is to Get An Empowering Daily Routine.
What’s an Empowering Daily Routine?
It’s a ritual or set of habits that you do every day that, well, empowers you.
Why is it so important to have an Empowering Daily Routine?
1. Because life is tough enough without having to re-invent the wheel.
Many coaches, speakers, authors, healers, and mission-driven entrepreneurs don’t have a blueprint or proven strategy for success.
Instead, they are basically flying by the seat of their pants every day – throwing spaghetti on the wall and seeing what sticks.
That is not a formula for success.
It’s a recipe for disaster.
2. Because there’s a big difference between an Empowering Daily Routine and a Disempowering Daily Routine.
We all follow daily routines.
Whether you get up at 6 am, 8 am, or 3 pm – whether you work from home or in an office – whether you drive to work, ride a bicycle, or walk from your bedroom to the kitchen – all human beings tend to follow routines.
The problem is that often these routines do not empower you – they DIS-empower you.
Of course, this happens gradually, over months, years, or decades.
But over time, we get stuck in a rut – caught in an endlessly-repeating cycle that keeps you stuck rather than sets you free.
3. Because structure gives you FREEDOM.
This is counter-intuitive, but when you follow a plan or blueprint, it doesn’t hamper your creativity – it heightens it.
Many mission-driven entrepreneurs are also highly creative.
But there’s a difference between being creative and being in chaos.
The irony is that the more structure you have in your day, the more you can actually free yourself to be more creative.
Why? Because rather than being distracted by every “shiny object” that comes along, you will be focused on your desired goal and have the confidence that comes from knowing you are working towards it.
If you don’t have an Empowering Daily Routine, it’s time to put one in place – both in your personal life as well as your business life.
The rewards of doing this simple act will astonish you.
Noah’s Note: An Empowering Daily Routine gives you structure as it gives you freedom.
