Happy Mother’s Day To Moms Everywhere

I heard a story about a first-time mom who had to take her child to the doctor. As she was waiting in the waiting room, she noticed another mom with her 3 kids.

As this was her first child, the first mom said to the other mom, “How do you do it? It takes everything I have to care for my one.”

The second mom said, “Don’t worry honey – when you have 3 of your own, you’ll find a way.”

Then they both noticed a third mom who also had 3 children in the waiting room. The second mom said to the third mom, “How do you take care of your 3?”

The third mom said, “Dear, I have seven. These are just my 3 youngest.”

The first and second mom looked at each other in amazement. The first mom said to the third mom, “How in the world do you care for SEVEN children?”

The third mom answered, “When I had my first, I thought there was no way I could love another human being as much as I did this little child. I thought my heart would explode from so much love.

Then I had my second and I thought the same thing. Then my third and fourth and fifth and sixth and seventh.

With each one, I thought my heart would explode because I loved each one of them so much.”

She said to the first mom, “You love your one with all your heart and think that’s all the love you can possibly give.”

To the second, she said, “You love your three with all your heart and think that’s all the love you can possibly give.”

Then she said, “I love my seven just as much as you love your one and you love your three.”

“A mother’s heart expands to embrace all of her children, no matter how many there are.”
