Okay, I can finally tell the whole story…
Last winter, my wife Babette and I went to an open casting call to be in the new Marvel Studios movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The city of Cleveland is now the official stand-in for cities like New York in The Avengers and Washington, DC for Captain America.
So the producers wanted to cast some local people to be in the movie.
My wife – who happens to be a gorgeous blonde – was selected to be in the movie.
I, not being a gorgeous blonde, was not.
After her day of shooting, she told me that the producers had sworn everyone to secrecy – so we weren’t allowed to tell anyone until the movie came out, that she was in it.
We saw the movie this weekend – and sure enough, in the mall scene, when Chris Evans (Captain America) and Scarlett Johanssen (Natasha Romanoff) are coming down the escalator…
When Captain America turns his head, look on top of the escalator and you’ll see my wife.
(She’s the gorgeous blonde.)
I am so proud of her.
And yes, I highly recommend you see Captain America: The Winter Soldier…
Not just because my wife is in it – but because it is one heck of a thrill ride.
One of the best action movies I’ve ever seen – as good, if not better than, The Avengers.
Go see Captain America: The Winter Soldier
And leave a comment here if you spot Babette!
I believe in you!
