Are you making these mistakes in business?
I remember it like it was yesterday.
I had just broken up with my girlfriend and ended up moving back into my parents’ house in Maine.
I felt as cold inside as the weather was outside.
As I was sitting at a makeshift desk in my parents’ basement, I took out a pencil and yellow legal pad and added up everything I owed.
And discovered to my horror that I was $42,000 in credit card debt, and I was about to go under.
I felt desperate, hopeless, angry, frustrated…
And worst of all, I felt like I had let everyone down.
I vowed then and there, that I would solve my money problems or die trying.
90 days later, everything had changed… Because I discovered a simple method to package and sell my knowledge online.
Within 24 months, I had built a 7-figure “work from home” business from that simple blueprint.
And it was through that experience of struggle and failure that I made a surprising discovery…
There are people who I call The Naturals because they are unconsciously competent at allowing themselves to succeed.
Yet the question is…
Why do some people find it so easy to have financial abundance…while the majority of people struggle just to stay afloat?
The answer is: Highly successful people aren’t making these mistakes in business.
Either they never made these mistakes – or, like me, they got themselves a mentor and learned how to get out of their own way.
How about you?
These are common mistakes business owners make.
Are these first 4 mistakes keeping you stuck and draining you dry?
Mistake #1: Lack of Belief in Yourself
If you don’t believe in yourself, you’re going to miss opportunities, sabotage yourself, hold yourself back, and drive down the road of life with one foot on the brake.
Sure, you’ve got one foot on the gas and are going where you want to go.
But, at the same time, you’re unconsciously stopping yourself from living the life of your dreams.
Here’s what it looks like…
Mistake #2: Lack of Support System
If you don’t have a support system, you don’t have the right people around you who can help you fulfill your dreams.
You feel lost or alone.
And the people who are around you, your family and so-called “friends,” just don’t get it.
They may even make fun of you when you tell them about your dreams and vision for the future.
Mistake #3: Fear of Failure
The fear of failure leads to paralysis by analysis, waiting for everything to be perfect before taking action.
That’s like wanting to take a cross-country trip – but waiting for all the lights to turn green before you leave your driveway.
When does that happen? Never.
And when is everything going to be perfect?
Say it with me: Never!
Mistake #4: Fear of Success
This is the flip side of the fear of failure, yet many of my coaching clients experience both fears. How is that possible?
When it comes to mistakes in business communication, the fear of success primarily stems from the fear of criticism.
This is where you’re not doing the things that will quickly grow your business, because you’re afraid of what “they” will say.
You’re also afraid of losing your so-called “friends” when the big money starts pouring in.
Listen, if you are making even one of these costly mistakes, you’re leaving money on the table – a lot of it, every single day.
The good news is that, like me, you CAN stop making these mistakes in business and life.
You CAN stop holding yourself back from the level of success that you are perfectly capable of achieving.
You CAN finally get your foot off the brake and start living the life of your dreams.
